West Texas Rehabilitation Center

Roger Ellison enjoys the "best job of his life" as Vice President for Planned Giving for the West Texas Rehabilitation Center Foundation where he has helped friends of the Rehab make wonderful things happen for the disabled through charitable gift and estate planning since 1993. He is a Certified Financial Planner.

The West Texas Rehab Center is a private non-profit organization, founded in 1953 in Abilene, Texas. Today, the Center is a nationally respected organization with approximately 200 full-time staff in three facilities - Abilene, San Angelo, and Ozona, which provide out-patient rehabilitation care each year to more than 21,000 children and adults.

The organization's mission since inception has been to improve the quality of life for those we serve regardless of their financial circumstances. In the over 50 years of history, no one has ever been denied service for lack of ability to pay.

All professional staff at WTRC has appropriate licensing and/or certifications. Additionally, the internationally recognized Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission (CARF) accredits the Rehab Center's outpatient medical rehabilitation program.
